Tether, OKX, and the US Department of Justice have frozen $225 million in USDT tokens linked to a human trafficking syndicate in Southeast Asia. The companies and the DOJ worked alongside Chainalysis to identify the crypto and freeze the assets. This is the largest freeze of USDT in history, and shows the potential of collaboration between crypto companies and law enforcement to counter criminal activity.
