Moisés Zamora, creator and co-showrunner of the Netflix series “Selena: The Series”, has created Videomart – an on-chain platform that allows users to launch their own films and find dedicated fan bases for those projects. Videomart is set to launch at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival in January and will feature 35 films. This platform joins a growing ecosystem of initiatives utilizing emerging technology like NFTs to lower barriers for entry into the film production industry. “The Quiet Maid”, one of the first feature films to be funded by NFTs, is set to have its world premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. This is great news for filmmakers as it provides them with an alternative to traditional studio financing. #Filmmaking #Movies #NFTs #Streaming
