Valve has announced the upcoming release of a new OLED model of its Steam Deck handheld gaming device, with larger and more vibrant OLED display, HDR support, 30-50% longer battery life, speedier Wi-Fi 6E support, lighter and cooler than the original device. The new model will be available in 512GB and 1TB storage options priced at $549 and $649 respectively. On top of that, Valve is also lowering prices for the existing LCD models, with the 64GB option now $349 (down from $399) and the 512GB LCD now $449 (was $529). The Steam Deck OLED will launch on November 16 in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
