Coinbase, one of America’s biggest cryptocurrency exchanges, is completely removing support for Bitcoin SV (BSV). Customers who store the asset on the platform will have their holdings liquidated on January 9th unless they remove their coins. Coinbase delisted Bitcoin SV back in 2021 after the blockchain behind the coin suffered a “51% attack” and became unstable. Bitcoin SV is a cryptocurrency born in November 2018 after Bitcoin Cash underwent a hard fork. It is the 53rd biggest digital asset with a market cap of $967 million. Craig Wright, a controversial Australian computer scientist who claims to be the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, is the main supporter of BSV. Wright has threatened those who say he is not Satoshi with lawsuits, resulting in the delisting of BSV from a number of major exchanges. #Coinbase #BitcoinSV #Cryptocurrency #HardFork
