Bitcoin has soared past $31,000 per coin on Monday, as hype around a spot Bitcoin ETF has led to increased optimism in the space. The coin is up 88% since the start of the year, when it was trading at $16,615. Ethereum and Dogecoin have also seen gains in the past day, with Ethereum up over 3% and Dogecoin up 5%. Investment firms are fine tuning their applications to the SEC in the hopes of getting the green light for a spot ETF.
